Instagram Followers Glossary: Every Key Term, Explained

Follower count — the number of accounts subscribed to your profile. The first social-proof signal a visitor reads.

Reach — the number of unique accounts that saw your content. Impressions — the total number of views, including repeats. Reach is the audience; impressions is the exposure.
